What we’re looking for

We’re hiring new graduates, as well as people at the beginning of their career, from Montreal who want to make the world a better place through storytelling. You don’t have to have years of experience, in fact, we actually prefer you didn’t. We are the experts in short-form content and will train you on how to create life-changing viral content. What we’re looking for is for your work to make us feel something. If your work can uplift our audience and empower us all to think or act differently, we want to hear from you.

Join Goalcast’s Creative Accelerator

Here’s how it works

  1. Our Creative Accelerator is not for everyone. It’s for the creatives who are aligned with Goalcast’s mission and want to join our cause, the high performers, and the ones who have grit. It is a 4 week full-time paid training program that teaches participants what they need to know about creating impactful short-form content for social media. You will learn from experienced directors and filmmakers what you can’t learn anywhere else. We will focus on curating content, storytelling, short documentary techniques, scripting and editing for social media, what makes a video go viral, and more. A certificate of completion will be given to all participants.

  2. But wait, it gets better. The top participants who’ve shown impressive growth and incredible potential will be offered a full time position on the Goalcast team. Full disclosure, if you’re not looking to build your career in media and do what it takes to secure one of those top spots this is not the opportunity for you.

  3. Upon accepting your offer there is a three month probationary period, called Goalcamp, where you’ll have the opportunity to further your learning and really show us what you’ve got!

We are only letting a limited number of people into the Creative Accelerator. We are currently accepting applications for our Spring cohort:

March 20th - April 14th 2023

Goalcast’s Creative Accelerator is currently only being offered to Montreal candidates. All training will take place in-person at the Goalcast headquarters in the Plateau. Proper Covid 19 health protocols are in place.

Application process:

Submit your resume, portfolio and/or reel

  • If you’re selected a member of our team will schedule a call with you to explain the details and answer your questions

  • A take-home assignment will be sent to you and assessed by our content team

  • If you pass the assignment we will schedule a second call with your team lead

  • If there’s a good mutual fit, you will be invited into the Creative Accelerator and we will share the details of your conditional employment offer*

*Although details of an employment offer will be shared with each participant who enters the Creative Accelerator, the offer is only officially made to the top participants and will be at the discretion of the Goalcast team.
